Aw, no, that's nothing to be embarrassed about! ^^ They have a similar darkness and sadness in their hearts--Kefka just buries it with all of his evil. Cyan can get a little insane, too. They're also both soldiers. They have a lot in common. Thank you, yeah, I love her lineart^^

heh...well, I'm glad you don't think I'm TOO odd   If I remember correctly, I think Cyan decided that since Kefka was obviously nuttier than a Fifth Avenue Bar, he couldn't really hold him responsible for his actions and it would be wrong to kill him for them.  He eventually decided someone this mentally ill needed care and compassion, and decided to protect him, as well as protect people FROM him too   I think he was a little relived because after having lost so much, he finally had something to protect again.  Plus, even someone as stoic as he is can't help but be cheered up by Kefka's antics...it's like being around someone on a constant sugar high

Though that might just be me projecting...I can't help but find that evil little clown adorable even when he's committing mass murder or remaking the face of the earth XD

: ) Ooh, that's sweet that you found Cyan to be in a better mental place than Kefka and wanted to protect him and protect people from Kefka, too, because Cyan had lost so much. ^^ That's a really unique idea! ^^ That's true, the mania kind of spreads, in a  good way. : D 

Kefka is adorable though very scary! : D It actually makes sense, I see the same relationship with Jafar and Hades. : )

Haha, actually when he found Kefka, he was almost as nuts.  The story took place in an AU where instead of achieving godhood, Kefka got pwned with everyone else on the Floating Continent when the world tore itself apart.  He and Cyan ended up in some frozen wasteland in the middle of nowhere, with Kefka even more nuts than before and with his memories completely wiped. And although Cyan, who by now was seriously unhinged, wanted to kill him for taking everything away from him, it felt wrong to him...and although he hated himself for it, he felt bound by his moral code to help the little freak.  But by helping him, it helped him recover mentally, and he did come to care for Kefka, so by the time Kefka recovered enough of his humanity to feel bad about what he'd done to Cyan's family and asked Cyan to kill him, Cyan couldn't do it.

Kefka was supposed to die in a heroic sacrifice realigning the statues, but in the end, I just couldn't do that to poor Cyan and revived him

btw, I was looking through your gallery and wow!  I love your FF6 pics...you really captured how depressed poor Cyan must have been after he lost his family.  I want to give the guy a hug.

Hades and Jafar?  Haha, I never thought of shipping them, but they're both pretty darn funny, so they'd be an amusing pair   Who's the dominant one?
