Superman really has always hit me in the feels, and this picture does that more so.
While Wolverine and spiderman were always my favorites, Superman felt like the most human of the superheroes. And the only people who said otherwise were a bunch of edgelords who accused him of arrogance.
This feels very, American shall we say, in the best way possible. In the sense that the immigrant son looks with pride and joy at the links to his past and his home people.
Superman feels so good and pure in this and I can rarely say that this is done without either being deceptive or foolish.
