Description
Alone, at home, she sits and cries.
I kills me to hear the pain in her eyes.

It hurts her worse, all that pain held in,
It shows, scarred, the marks on her skin.

I know she just needs someone to love,
I try, so hard, but he’s one step above.

She praises my work, says the pain is less,
But I feel I’ve done nothing, not passed a test.

She’s empty, I feel it, as it slowly kills,
This is a void I can’t seem to fill.

But still I try, I’ll never give up.
