The only sound that met her ears was the shrill shrieking of the unoiled swing set and the soft shudder of the wind blowing through her hair. She stood alone in the center of the deserted clearing, not really bothering to wonder where everyone was. It was just her and her only companion; an enormous yellow pencil with a sadistic and insane smile carved into the wooden shaft.
