Sometimes I talk to myself. It began as an unintentional thing, muttering under my breath “This goes here, that doesn't go there. Yeah, that’s a good idea.” But the more nobody wanted to listen to me, the more I talked to myself. I am often my own friend, the only one who will listen to me speak. I am my own audience. And so the ideas strike me with the force of a landslide and I repeat them to myself because there’s nobody else tell. Nobody else who will listen.

Everyone needs someone in their life who will listen to them. Who will listen to their ideas. I have one but not around me all the time. So I can't tell him. It's depressing. And he's busy a lot so he doesn't always answer his phone.

Haha. There are only three people who sit and listen to me talk when I want to say things: My boyfriend, my grandfather, and my best friend. They are the three that keep me from going completely insane.

I'm glad you agree! It was just something that was bothering me. When I first began writing I wrote one hundred word stories. And people would always tell me that I needed to make it longer. Now that I'm older and have more experience and knowledge, things I've never thought of or realized before are hitting me like a slap in the face. It's just all sudden understanding realization.

I'm not too creepy don't worry. XD Yeah, it's always like that "make it longer", "you need more words for this to be a proper story", and in the end, with some experience, you find out the most pieces that hold most emotion and meaning are actually the shorties that are hidden in some random notebook or file, ignored since we were led to believe they were "too short".
Oh well, guess there's nothing to be done about that.
And don't worry, I don't usually try to scare off quality writers. ^-^ Yay! Another one for the stalked list! oops, said too much.

Exactly! I'm just glad I still realized this as a young and still student writer and not as an old woman with all the experience in the world. I haven't written a short in years because people have been leading me to believe that "the longer the better!"
Because of my latest realization, I'm going to continue writing short pieces. Your support and agreement has really egged that on

x3 I can't say I have all that experience, god I must be younger and less experienced than you. Oh well, it just came to my realization when my former tutor showed me his best pieces, there were no long proses only short ones and poetry and I noticed how foolish it was to believe word count could make something good.

Um, you're probably way older than me. I'm fourteen I've been writing for five years.
I've never been taught how to write. It must have been amazing having a writing tutor.
I don't really write poetry. I'm trying to get into it, though. I thought maybe I should get into into it to expand my writing boundaries. And I started small with prose so I'll start small with poetry, too. I'm going to write couplets till I drop dead >.>

I wasn't taught how to write, he's in first place my friend and he writes so well that I asked if he could give me a hand, he agreed and since then he's been helping/correcting my stuff.
Couplets are cool (never wrote one or better, never made one that was nice enough to post), do them, I'm also beginning poetry, it's always been too much of a challenge for me.
