let the human race define lust
blind lust, when the heart yearns for that which is not there
and whole lust, where one labors tirelessly in a feeble effort to acquire another human as their own
many of us undergo blind lust

for blind lust is needy,
it is lonely and it cries all too often
we seal it in metal bars, what we call our conscience
which whispers to it, "be calm, young one
for you will only hurt me"
it screams and wails, and all you'll hear is silence

because silence is a brutal knife
that will gut you, rip you limb from limb
blind lust will breach it's bars, and you will sink into madness
for no man could ever resist
that which is unresistable.
