I have this tradition of drawing my OCs Jonathan (left) and Claude (right) every year for Halloween, and this is my fourth year of doing so!! For this year I ended up going for the "dark fairy tale" sort of vibe and really wanted to give Jonathan a more "active" role this time around (since in previous years he's either been Claude's victim or clearly the less ominous of the two lol).

I'm a little embarrassed by how much lore I ended up with for a silly Halloween piece, but essentially Jonathan is a fairy and Claude a previous human who ended up staying in the fairy realm and his form changing to better fit his new home. They live in the forest of eternal night, and while they're much more malevolent than many other residents of the realm of fairies, they're still mischievous and their moral compass very different from that of humans'.
