I'm actually really happy with the way this turned out.It's 's Guild Wars character Alacrity. She's a great character to work with, and he was awesome to step up and be my first commissioner!
I'm mailing this off to him, so it's already in it's envelope, just gotta ship her off to sea tomorrow.
(lol No, I am not using a bottle to ship it off to sea to him.... Well maybe. That'd be pretty sweet.)
Done all with watercolors and a black pigment liner 05 pen Time spent: 3-5 days working on it.*Also, this is just the WIP, the finished version is in the envelope

Love the markings/mask on her face. A question though, is she holding the turtle? It looks like her hand is holding it, but I can't make out the position well

Is she more savage? I almost want to see her in action! Maybe I'll pick up Guild Wars some day.... I've already played City of Villains, so they have to be soooomewhat similar.

actually most images of her so far are tame .. but her GW version is comparable to the TV Batman, whereas her initial concept from genres prior to GW (incl paper/pencil RP) is more the "Dark Knight" Alacrity ~
GuildWars has been already going for 3+ years, and will be replaced by GW2 next year, so unless you've a lot of time on your hands, and are really done with CoH I'm not sure I can recommend it ..
If you've got friends in your timezone who play it will be worthwhile (and there are no fees)

Oh I am really done with CoH, I played it once last night for a friend's birthday. lol was worth the money, we did this big Strike Force thing, which is basically 1-2 hours worth of taking down big, strong fierce heroes with a team of 8 villains.

ha, what I mean is, GW has cartoon violence, no blood or anything, is only missing the "BAM" and "POW"
whereas her original concept is kinda .. less innocent ..
CoH/V sounds awesome, maybe one day I'll get time to give it a spin ~

CoH doesn't have the blood or anything, which sucks, the bodies disappear when you kill em lol.
