I found this piece of AWESOME-Tattoo Design with the help of Deviant-Art. (in random critiqueable) So, I'm here with the intention of being fair. The first point that I wanna remark is that shades and lights are well-suitable in the composition of the Tattoo. I admire the way you improved the skull in th middle and the dragon over it. Flowers in 6 (more or less) colors suits perfectly with the context, indeed. I'm so glad to have found this tattoo-design, perhaps It's not quite unique and original, but this artist found the ingredient to make this design, 100% breathtaking.

I wish I had more time to offer you a formal critique of this wonderful drawing, but I don't and honestly, I also don't think I would have much to offer seeing as how I've only been tattooing for 2 years myself. The only thing that really stands out to me is the high contrast black background shapes (I always forget what the actual term for those Japanese wind/beam/things is??), I'd probably simplify them/broaden them since there is so much going on in the middle-ground and foreground. Oh, and the dragon scales, I'd go bigger/upscale them in the actual tattoo, they look great now, but in 10years small scales turn into blobs on skin...hope it helps, good luck with the tattoo, it'll be great I'm sure, and huge(I hope)!!!
