it's just odd because most graphomancy requires far more nuanced meaning than is present, and usually ivolves 30+ runes. as I said, I work mostly with the futhark sets, I have my own set of 42 assembled mainly from the anglosaxon period, but with some runes taken from both earlier and later futhark sets. they comprise a complete phonetic alphabet as well as a wide range of symbolic meaning, which I left mostly unchanged from the traditional meanings.
