Black Rock Shooter was created completely by Huke and is seperate, thats why there are other characters in the BRS Other World Universe that arent Vocaloid related at all.
So saying that Hukes work is Vocaloid fanart... oh mai, i will slap your shit. XD.

It was originally a song by Hatsune Miku. It got so popular that someone drew a PV for it, which made it even more popular, which lead to the statuettes and action figures, which lead to a half an hour movie.

Dark and Creepy, Since Miku's name means "Future" this picture makes me think of the acceptance of darkness and slowly how it is becoming from blue skies to a dark dim future...

Black Rock Shooter is an original character by an artist called HUKE. She is featured in a music video of a song by Miku Hatsune of the same name.
I'm so glad that there's someone who doesn't just claim she's a Miku variation. xD I like it when people ask.
