Hani and Hunter are colored in : D I was drawing something a little simple so I could color them. I am lazy and today was a semi-okay day. So here you are. I couldn't make Hani blond cause Shimo's blond and their hair is similar (I must switch up Shimo's hairstyle anyways : DDD) and I already have enough blonds in GL. Sooooooooo Hani's a brunette. I think it's cute >u> Ion would prolly be amazed by how shiny his hair is cause Ion's hair is the only hair that can shine D< And as its been sad in the last three comics featuring these two, Hunter's hair is red.

LET'S START WITH HANI.

Personality: Obviously very laid back. He likes to lounge around and do nothing but smoke all day and just enjoy the "I don't give a fuck" lifestyle. He tends to take this to the extreme by avoiding others in the gang and stealing himself some weed to just relax and not have to go on stupid jobs for the Boss. He's friendly, easy to get along with but normally goes with first impressions of the person and treats them how he thinks that should be treated. Upon meeting Hunter at first, he thought of him (and bluntly told him) as being one of the "pseudo-hard gangsters that found themselves the complete shit above all others". At first he treated him as though he were buffing up the ego he believed Hunter had, but after a year of getting to know each other, he was completely convinced the guy was otherwise and got use to treating him as such. With other members within the gang he's done the same but never had enough time to get to know them, so he...still treats them all as he thinks of them. Other than that, he enjoys having fun like most human beings.

Bio: Born a Hawaiian native, Hani's mother had decided that moving to California was the much better option for her child. Her boyfriend (Hani's daddy, they didn't marry) disagreed and had wanted to stay in Hawaii. Though he wanted to keep Hani with him, but she refused to give him up. He was hoping to go out into Cali with them, but... FINANCIAL ISSUES AND SHIT LIKE THAT and Hani's momma was a nurse. So coming to Cali, L.A, she was able to get a nice home for them to settle in. Over the years she had become overly obsessed with a man online which she had been chatting with for about 10 years after Hani's 8th birthday. She had been able to score a job at the hospital and became a (insert specific job) nurse and moved up in ranks. She saved up money over another 8 years so she could leave to meet this guy. The man did not like kids though... so... she had spent that amount of time contemplating whether of not to give Hani up or let him come along anyways. She tried to negotiate, but he refused each time. She couldn't make a valid decision, so... when he was 16, she left abruptly so she wouldn't feel guilt. She had been packing days before but Hani... never asked why. She stocked up on food before hand so there was plenty to eat for about 2-3 weeks until he had to get more. The bills had been paid in advance. So he remained there until everything was shut off and all the food was gone. (LOL THIS ISN'T DEPRESSING)
Hani's most memorable moments with his momma are laying in her lap and hearing stories, hearing soothing music, and having his hair stroked ;w;
After leaving the house of houses (forgive me if this sounds unreal OTL still working on it) he had roamed the streets and kept trying to attend school. He had no choice but to join a orphanage. After turning 18 and graduating high schooooool, he had his first whiff of weed. And since he got such a great sensation of "fuck it" he literally, just said fuck it. College was out of the question, and careers, shit like that, everything was out of the question. He wasn't able to get a lot of the weed at the time but was informed of where most of the weed within the city had came from, for cheap. The Roots gang was/is the center of the weed distribution within the underground of L.A : D He had also heard that the weed was free if you joined the gang. And... he did. And after a year later, he met Hunter and thus began a super bromance.

Cons in his personality: Lazy ass, uncaring towards his life, judgmental, somewhat dependent

Phobias/Fears: Disappointing those closest to him, pissing his dad off enough (enough goes beyond yelling)

Personality: Hunter's very tense. Though he's okay with his surroundings, he's normally tense due to his personal life. He's easy to get a long with, normally passive and awkward around extremely open and hyper people (*cough*NOEL*cough*). Interaction with other people isn't much of a problem for him (besides the stated traits above) and girls aren't anything new. He's more to himself about "crushes" and shit like that. He prefers the friendly kind of love. Just getting along is enough for him. Upon meeting new people, he's neutral until they piss him off or make him happy (normally takes ... about a day for him to come up with any like or dislike towards someone). On Hani's case, he was loling at his first impression towards him. So he liked him after that and BADAM, FRIENDSHIP.

Bio: First thing that was noticeable about Hunter was his amazing red hair. Though this isn't super rare, his hair came from the genes of his great-grandmother >w> (generation skippppp). He knows next to nothing about genes and such, but kinda resents the fact his hair is the only thing that draws people to him. He his childhood was basic, middle class and completely great for him. He enjoyed it and never wanted to get older. As the years escalated, his parents had had two girls (they're 2 years apart, the oldest being 8 years younger than him). He enjoyed having younger sisters. He was nice to them, playful and made sure to let their friends know that he'd hurt them if they made his sisters cry at all. At the time he could never fight even if he wanted to, on account of being afraid of getting hurt. As the years went on, he was sure to at least learn how to punch and block. For his parents, things seemed to get worse in their relationship. His mother seemed to work longer hours during the day while his dad worked night shift. Due to heavy substance abuse (alcohollllll) his dad had become more verbally abusive towards Hunter and his sisters. During the times she was gone, he would yell at them, say all kinds of shit and lock himself away within his room. Hunter had developed a fear of ever angering his dad much more to where he would physically abuse him and his younger sisters so he tries his best to keep himself and them in check. Their mother knows of these things but from time to time turns a blind eye in hopes to avoid any huge arguments. (they argue a shitload).
Around 18ish, he joined the Roots as a way to say "FUCK YOU DAD" but of course is afraid of his dad ever finding out about it. He found out the wonders of weed when meeting Hani and enjoys smoking that whenever given the chance. He really really really doesn't like the Roots Boss (Tree lol) like Hani, and is deathly afraid of the rumored gang the Animals (who live around the L.A Dump and skin people alive.)
And the whole lap deal with Hani, he has very mixed feelings on that. His younger sisters are always crawling over him and hugging him and cuddling so it never really came off as weird when Hani lays in his lap. Though he's a bit weirded out by it since Hani's a guy, he just lets it happen cause... well he's use to it. And when he hears why Hani even does it, he really won't protest against it anymore.
Pros in personality: easy going, nice, sympathetic and UNDERSTANDINGGGG, mature
Cons in personality: Easily frightened, naive (sort of just believes just about anything), indecisive, stubborn, keeps to self on personal shit

I was listening this most of the time i was drawing [link] Seriously... I kept thinking of the part when the chick was all "I got a question for you" I kept thinking of Hunter thinking of some chick being all close singing that part...and like it slowly dissolving into Hani and he's just like "DA FUCK ARE YOU DOING?" and Hani's all "singing a song : D You like that part huh?" and yeah shit went down.
