Thank you, Amanda!

I applied for a semester of college exchange, most likely going to Uppsala if I manage to keep my grades up

thanks! Which city are you in? I'm planning to tour Northern Europe at least while I'm there!

haha, cos I really like Sweden? and I'm studying Swedish at the moment so spending a semester there will kinda force me to improve my Swedish ( though I might just end up speaking in English

I currently live in Härnösand, it's in southern Norrland, in the state of Ångermanland (though state is not a proper translation, it's "landskap" in Swedish). That sounds like a good plan! Got any destinations yet? I advice you to go up north, like Arjeplog. In the winter, you'll see northern lights, and in the summer you'll experience the midnight sun for real We have it here as well, but seeing as this is the middle of Sweden, it really isn't as dramatic here as there.
Is there anything in particular you'll study? I don't think there'll be a problem language-wise for you. If you find it hard to have conversations in Swedish, you should switch to English. But it's always good to listen. How much Swedish do you know? Sorry if I'm irksome with my questions, it's just that I've never heard of a foreigner which such an interest in Sweden
