Description
A pencil portrait of Loki Laufeyson (Thor/Avengers). I do love this guy, Tom Hiddleston plays him so well
The picture is from a Thor poster, I intend to make more of all the Avengers cast once exams are all over and I have some more time on my hands.
Do you think I should black out the rest of the background, or leave it as a sort of shadow effect?
Scanner kind of ruined the quality, but oh well. You get the idea.
Took around 3-4 hours.

I personally think you should black out the bg- the atmosphere woul be more dramatic

Yeah, on the real thing the tones are better blended and you can't see the paper-texture so sharply. I might try taking a photo instead and seeing how that turns out.

I know what you mean about camera shake... Bane of my life until I got a tripod. Well, sort of permanently borrowed my dad's...
Now the biggest problem I have is usually lighting...
I think I probably will black the whole thing, maybe darken it a bit too.
