➥ Hidden in under his cloak and rarely leaves the sheath unless necessary. It's on the heavier side and requires two hands to wield. Since the sword+sheath is quite long, it's possible to tie things to it (with string of course) and thus it makes handy tools (such as a broom for sweeping the wind altar).

☃ S K I L L : Radiant Storm (Lv.2)
➥ The wind picks up, encircling a mid-sized area of effect. Within the area, for a short period of time, beams of solid light aether fall like rain, striking targets. Damage dealt is so-so- this attack is primarily used to stall enemies in order to get close enough to hit them, or keeping distance during recovery times.

☃ P E R S O N A L I T Y :
➥ Étoile lacks a sense of self, and therefore it's actually true to say that he also lacks personality. Having grown up with Breeze for all the memorable parts of his life, he's grown adapted to just doing whatever she tells him to do. It is difficult for him to make decisions alone, and he bases most of his judgment on what he's been told before.

➥ As such, he feels uncomfortable being out by himself, in case he runs into anyone, and normally just stays at the altar. Occasionally, he can be seen at the Rainbow Plateau, which might be his favourite place in Ira (nobody would know because...he doesn't confirm this).

➥ While shy with others he encounters, he's quite passive and hardly ever resorts to violence (probably the opposite of Breeze). Though he does not smile or show visible signs of happiness, he is gentle, and quite content with his life.

☃ H I S T O R Y :
Though the history of Old Aetherin has been long forgotten, Étoile's old journal still exists, and in that, the documentation of his early life.

Born into a well off family, Étoile's father was a well-known inventor in the then industrialized 'dark' age of Ira. However, a scandal between his father and a competitor caused his father's status and place to crumble, and with it, his mentality. Unable to deal with the torment and shame he had to suffer, his father eventually grew more and more irritable and cold. After a falling out with his wife, he turned on the only sprites he had left in his life- his children. "I'll give you a better life," he declared. "In the only way that I can..."

While his elder brother managed to flee their home, the younger was not so lucky. But before his life could end, an unexpected event happened; his father was killed first. Though he had little time to see his savior before he fainted, he could recall her long, white hair, and snowy wings...

For you see, Breeze, who always kept up with the gossip of her Ira sprites, had known about this case for some time. Back then, it was rare for her to meddle with the affairs of the others, as she preferred to let things 'happen as they should'. But for whatever reasons that she kept to herself, she took the child under her wing. Perhaps his situation had interested her in some way...

They've been together ever since, and that's where the documentation ends.

☃ A D D I T I O N A L - I N F O :
➥ Due to the incident as a child, he has several injuries, which is why he prefers to be fully covered. Most notable, his right horn is chipped, one of his wings is damaged, and he is unable to speak (mute).
➥ Because he's unable to speak, he will generally use the abundance of clouds around Ira to form shapes to simulate his speech. Since it is difficult to communicate, he will avoid doing so unless absolutely necessary. Otherwise, he's fine with answer yes/no questions with a simple nod/shake of his head. Since he's been with Breeze for a long time, she can interpret his 'speech' by playing charades with him. If he really has to, he can also write.
➥ Unlike Breeze, it's awkward for him to fly, so he prefers to walk whenever possible.
➥ There are a couple of bells tied around his outfit so he can be heard even if he can't speak.
➥ Sheds the cloak during battle or when flying. How the hat stays on, we'll never know.

➥ He's hung out with Lang a few times in the past and thinks he's alright.

➥ Aside from that, due to lack of social contact and trauma from the past, he's got trouble trusting anyone except Breeze. You won't know it though, because he's very good at his poker face.
