I saw two butcherbirds today: one in my backyard, but he didn't hang around. And one sitting on the wires when I came back from my walk.

I almost walked past him then he turned and looked at me. He was quite a distance away, but I took the shot anyway. I'm glad I did because even though it is not technically a good shot, I really like it Melissa.Β Β

Well in the dark it has to be harder to get a decent photo but I like it.
