Description The birds of paradise are a group of birds in Papua New Guinea. The males have incredibly beautiful plumage to impress females. Just google or youtube 'birds of paradise' and you will see male birds doing crazy dances and fluffing their feathers. Drawn here is the Greater Bird of Paradise.

A lovely pic!  I like the soft, magical atmosphere you've created.
I'm curious: is that meant to be an exceptionally big bird of paradise, or is the girl meant to be particularly small?  She sort of looks like she might be some sort of faerie race, so I'm assuming it's the latter, but I'm curious if there's a story behind the characters.
