Japheth and Svala Iulus for an original roleplay that I am involved in.
They are both dragons born around 900 AD but their grandfather was cursed causing them to be born into the bodies of humans. They live, trapped in these tiny human forms wanting nothing more than to be free. Their eldest brother, (he doesn't currently have a name or face) left home in search of a way to break the curse while Japheth stayed home to care for his little sister and father. A few centuries later, the Iulus family moved to Edinburgh and settled there. Japheth left to travel the world leaving his sister behind to care for their father. Japheth saved the life of a child known as Freyja and since then, he has protected her. He believes she is "The blessed child" and may one day set them free. Svala later begins traveling but with a body guard per request of her father. It her dream to visit every city on earth and seeing as how the Iulus' children are nearly immortal, she believes it is possible.
