this is the first sketch i did of a new short story character. his name is After and he's the body of Kite when he sleeps. i think i'm going to change After's hair a bit... like make it less pointy? i guess. haha.some of the brushes found at [link]

I like the surrounding black. It almost looks like the border is shrinking because of it. Actually I thought it was when I first looked, took a double take.

i finished my sketches of the two main characters, now i need to finish a sketch of the Nightmare Creature and finish writing it. =]
wanna help me with the title? this is it in a sum-up:
In a small quiet town there lives a free-spirited boy named Kite. He's quiet and shy like everyone else, however, unlike them, Kite can see things that aren't really supposed to exist and begins to lose his touch of reality and dreams. When his bodied dream, After, promises to stop these visions, the two enter the realm of Kite's mind to destroy the monster causing Kite's loss of reality.

I really love the story. But I don't know what could be the title... The word "nightmare" spins in my mind. Something like that i dunno.

yuppa. pointy hair. but characters with "pointy" hair usually tend to be more out-there and such. and Kite and After are both supposed to be calm, innocent, not too out-there. i guess.
