Description School project , we were given a hexagonal room and asked to furnish it in accordance to a historic style we studied. I chose Ludovic XIV style. The furniture presented is actual historic furniture, made by various epoque manufacturers such as Boulle. The pictures of the furniture, were taken as example only from restoration books from the school library and my own bookcase. The floor plans and side views were hand drawn, colored, and scanned to be combined digitally.

Very good, clear, concise, well-laid out plan, I like the color palette and materials boxes. Only one tiny comment: Because it appears to be a finished product, as somebody reading it to build it, bid on it (how much money to build the floor? for example,) you could put some very basic dimensions on it, in particular, dimension lines for length, width, and angle wall of room, and one dimension line along side a wall elevation to show ceiling height. Otherwise Grade A Plus!

The dimension lines exist in the papers i submitted to the school, but i left them out in this page because i didn't feel like anyone would even look at them. The School submitted papers also contain construction details on the bookcase and the chair and desk.

Okay, forgive me, believe it or not, I actually do the same because it makes drawings messy and difficult to read...

Yup, especially at the resolutions here.

Yes large complex drawings, well, the small dimensions are difficult to see.

Yes. The original paper were A1 size so the dimensions were small in comparison.

Very Nice, though I prefer Regency over the floweriness of Louis XIV, but this is a very nice and well thought out design

Thank you! I liked Louis XIV because it incorporated so so many designs, given his very long reign. Though his floweriness isn't as bad as Louis XV...THAT was insane O-o

Aye very true, Rococo went Nuts, I kind of blank out everything after XIV in France until Art Nouveau, as it just hurts the eyes

If i knew how to do the swirls and such in Sketchup, or if i knew 3d max i so would. But im kind of limited as to what i can do. I'll be uploading some of my 3d-renderings in a sec though.
