Autumn is depressing. Can't stand watching at yellow leaves and grey skies. Hate it so much, that every autumn I try to stay indoors with closed blinds, working on something on my PC, just to distract myself from depressing thoughts. I prefer winter. Yes, it's cold and wet, but at least it's not depression fest. Great picture btw

You could do this same result in the free Dazstudio With 3DDelight Secound renderer that possible works as fast as Bryce even in your low end computer .
DazStudio also have instances and terrains plugins even procedural textures
