Mint comes from a small island with a very rugged, cliff-like topography off the coast of Greece, where she lived with her Siren relatives.

Mint is a girly-girl. She has only ever lived around women aside from the men the other sirens would lure to the cliffs, so it's not surprising. Being a siren, she is especially flirtatious around men and knows exactly which buttons to press to lure them in, the impulse being a rather natural instinct for her. When she is not in the company of a man or on one's arm, she feels inadequate, so she will go to nearly any length to ensnare someone she's interested. She is very sweet though, and despite her ruthless nature when it comes to the opposite gender, she will not steal away someone's man out of sheer spite. She also has high standards, so she isn't someone who could be considered promiscuous either.

Despite her preoccupation with love-life, she has never experienced true love as Sirens were created simply to lure and trick, using an illusion of love to enchant and charm others. She didn't find out about the types of relationships humans had with one another until she found a book washed up along the shore of her island. A wise siren who knew the ways of the human world assisted her in reading the text, as Mint could not read. The story was that of "The Little Mermaid," and she empathized greatly with the main character in the story. She wanted to experience a world outside of her own and dare to find something as power and potentially dangerous as love. Also, another lesson she learned from the story was of the powerful bonds between humans that the Sirens unknowingly shattered each day as they enticed the men away from wives and children. Filled with a desire to see a world she knew not, Mint ran away from the island, using her enchantments and charms to make her way in the world until she found her way to Drake Academy.

She is extremely touchy-feely, finding it perfectly acceptable to hang all over people and hug them, girl or guy. She likes cuddling and enjoys linking arms or holding hands with friends as she walks along with them

Despite the fact that she is rather beautiful in appearance and voice, she is insecure and believes that people only like her out of some kind of enchantment, rather than actually thinking she is a worthy person. Above all, her greatest desire is to be able to live in a world with others without having to rely on tricks to be liked or to obtain things she needs, so she is self-conscious in this regard.

Cutting her hair is fatal to her. With each feather that is plucked from her, her youthfulness and beauty deteriorates, so if her wings are cut off (after all, her feathers are curled inside her pig-tails) she will age rapidly and her body will ultimately fail her.

For the purposes of this character, the point that Sirens are fated to die once the men fated to be lured by them pass by will be ignored. I don't want her to be such a tragic character. I'm sorry if my interpretation bugs any mythology purists, but I didn't want my character to die right away. I plan on being involved for a long while! >_<

Random Fact: Because her hair is wings, the white parts actually have nerves in them, so she can feel a touch on her hair as if it were on her arm. It's more sensitive closer to her head.
