I love seeing detail and the abstractness of a photograph. I love how you can see that there is one leather peice that connects to the bit that is hanging out. You can see how well groomed the horse is (nose). I love the details of the bridle and bit too. Faved

I'm sorry, I hate to talk like this uninvited, but how on earth is this nose "well groomed"? How can you like something this unnatural and harsh? Is it because it's "pretty"? People shave whiskers on horse's mouth, and therefore make them more vulnerable to hits; those animals must feel awful without them. The wiskers have a reason to exist, you know, and the important role of theirs is to work as a an early warning system. Shave those whiskers on your dog or a cat and see them irritated, stumbling on things because they can't feel them as early.
Not to mention metal pain devices (here - a leverage bit) that people put in the most vulnerable body part a horse has, but that's a different topic.
It's a lovely pic, surely, and the quality of it is fine, but ah - can't stand looking at something this unnatural and unintentionally cruel and not tell something about it. If you want to argue that this horse is in good hands, that it's well taken care of - well, the picture says for itself. Well done humans, well done.

beautifully taken...i love the light on the front end of the snout (is that the right word to use for horses and what not?)

nice resolution..not too big, not too small, catches all the details...i like it.

Thank you! I'm glad someone will finally tell me what they like about the photo instead of giving a one-word comment. xD
