Bio: In the past, Mackenzie was known as Princess Amani of Jupiter. Jovians were well known for their strength, love of nature and control of thunder. Amani was no exception to that rule and became a representative of Jupiter sent to the Moon Kingdom. She became close friends with Celestine and Bellonia, though she didn't like the vain Princess Harmonia of Venus and the party animal, Princess Marina of Mercury. During the celebration of the betrothal of Celestine and Thelonious, Amani fell in love with one of the prince's loyal guards, Enkil. Before they could share that dance, Queen Beryl attacked with her forces lead by the Dark Warriors. On the orders of Queen Serenity, the Princess Guardians launched a counterattack to fight her army. During the fight, Moon and the other guardians were believed to be lost but not before they prevented Beryl from gaining their Jewels of Power.
In the present timeline, Amani was reborn as Mackenzie Townsend. Like Chinatsu, she is often annoyed by Riley and Astrid for being airheads and their crazy plans. Mackenzie came to Brighton Academy on a scholarship and lived with her relatives after her parents' death. She dorms at Brighton with Victoria and Chinatsu.
