Just finished it. o_o9 idol drawings down, 1 to go.
I started questioning rather these drawings were worth my time, likely not.
It was good practice anyway... meh.
Used prismacolors on this.

It was fun, I usually draw the idols every year and do the winner in color. Last year I did two in color because I wasn't super fond of the winner and preferred Adam. >_> But that's the way it happened.

Amazing! Is his beard really a different colour to his normal hair?
I have no idea how you do skin colours so well! Mine are hopeless, so I usually stick to lead or avoid them.

In the photo I used to draw him, his beard colors were a bit different. Haha. They're the same but had different colors here and there, mainly like a few little tiny streaks of blondeish looking colors.. I think I may have made them too different, but at least I captured the slight difference?
The skin colors here were pretty difficult.. I think I butchered them for some reason. For one, the flash was used when the reference photo was taken.. and that is a horrible thing when trying to draw a color drawing of someone. The shades of color kind of all appear flat and I tried my best not to let that happen... but the lighter colors of my drawings washed out when they were scanned 
he looks way more pale than he should though. I had that problem. I used like a light peach color and shades of gray with the pencils trying to tone down the peach color a lot. Peach is a good skintone color but no one is THAT peachy looking.

Perhaps he puts lighter streaks in his beard hair? Hehehe.
I've never even thought of using grey in a skin colour. I've yet to perfect that. I guess this is why I avoid colour portraits.

You're not wasting your time! These drawings are completely great and can't understand how you're doing them so fast. I may not have commented on all of them, but I checked every one and they made me smile. It was the first year I completely watched AI and it was GREAT!

haha, I did them very quickly but that's because I put most of my time into them when I had to finish them.

oooo he looks err...quite...good looking...altho this is a drawing it still looks realistic...who is he exactly i dunt know any of them, but you've come up with quite a collection lol if that makes sense....bravo!
