I've just made a start on a new Egyptian mask with layers, and tooling - Isis. The pattern worked out well, but I'm currently keeping everything crossed that it performs as well in leather as it does in paper. It's quite ambitious, so we'll see. I will, of course, post pictures when it's complete, if I haven't consigned it all to the scrap bin.

This works very elegantly. Stylish and sinister.
I started thinking what this would look in colours, like muted green-yellow-red.
Although the black is beautiful.

I couldn't decide which colour to go for either. He might have looked good in red and gold or blue and gold - Venetian colours. If in doubt, black is always a safe bet.

Beautiful! I love the design, simple but excellently stylised.
Definitely a mask that would look good with any combination of costume and enhance a carnival atmosphere.
