Well... This came from the Young Justice Anon Meme in Live Journal. Here, this was the prompt that prompted this:" The League gets tired of waiting for Superman to man up and come up with some solution for Superboy's care, and decides that if unwanted human kids can be adopted, so can unwanted superkids. Someone they trust - be it superhero or ordinary mortal - adopts Superboy, no, for real. None of this "Superman repents and successfully takes him back" stuff.
Superboy may or may not be happy about it to begin with, but in the end, it turns out to be exactly what he needs and he's happier and better adjusted.
Off the top of my head, suggestions for possible parents include Martian Manhunter, Black Canary, Lois Lane, Oracle, Big Barda & Scott Free, or Blue Beetle (Ted Kord). Preferably not Batman or Martha Kent because there are already fics a bit like that. "

Interesting idea, but I'm more interested in the idea of a trans-gender amazon. What might it be like to not only identify as male in a culture that is entirely female and about female empowerment but also identify as someone the amazons sometimes consider the ENEMY? Now that has some interesting story ideas.Β
Here's a crazy idea. What about Kongorilla? Superboy becomes the kid of a hyper-intelligent Gorilla? What about Aquaman, where you get an atlantean who only gains powers above water?
If you dig into some of the stranger heroes, you can get some really cool ideas...and that's not even talking about some of the anti-heroes he could fall in with. I'm gonna stop before I start gushing about Superboy and Bizzaro.

It's Superboy, from Young Justice, in a fictional situation where he was adopted by Wonder Woman, and decides to take on her costume theme rather than Superman's. In the series, Superboy is Superman's clone, created by the bad guys, so Superman is suspicious of him and doesn't want to have any relation to him in the beginning, despite the obvious emotional issues this brings to Superboy.
So, he's a clone made out of Superman's and Lex Luthor's DNA (so they'd be his dads, I guess), and Wonder Woman has no relation to him other than being a mentor / adoptive mother.
