People are still thinking you made it though, because people on this website don't know how to read. XD You need to clear it up with them when they praise you for the drawing itself. Plus, traced stuff isn't allowed here anyway. Make your own.

Traced stuff is allowed. It's called line-art. Look at mine: [link] And also, there is a group that is dedicated to line-arts (there are more) for all kinds of things, mainly manga pages so people can color them. Line-art is their own work, no matter what the line-art is of. AND it is legal AND allowed here on DA. Here's the Group if you wanna take a look: which btw is a super group now, since it's so popular.

I know what lineart is, dear, it's when you ink your own drawing. The only reason groups like that are so popular here is because no one can be bothered to learn to draw. You included, apparently. XD

Nope. I was given special permission to line-art the original sketch, and guess what? The person who did the original sketch used MY line-art to color it. See?: [link] Since I did so well. Check my gallery also; that's the only line-art I've made. XD

And he in turn copied it from the manga. So he copied it from Tite Kubo, you traced it from him, and then someone coloured it from you. It's like a game of Chinese Whispers, except along the way we're losing creativity, not sense XD

Nope. That was a fan-art, and there was no picture done by Kubo at that point in time that was like that at all. At that point in time in the manga (when the sketch was released, and you can check the first comment on the sketch if you don't believe me), there was only a small glimpse of Toshiro's new look, and this is what he came up with. Check ALL of the Bleach manga chapters from 460 (where Toshiro's new look appears) on if you don't believe me, and PLEASE tell me what page he drew it from? Cause from what I've read, HIS IS THE ONLY PICTURE OF TOSHIRO THAT LOOKS LIKE THAT. So the picture was original, because he had no real reference to draw it. So there.

I can't tell you what page it's from because I haven't read the manga version, but I recognised it anyway And you can 'so there!' as much as you like, point still stands. Carry on with your tracing if you want, but it's pointless and no one appreciates it. You wouldn't be so defensive if you didn't know that.

It's not from the manga at all! Don't go assuming things that you have no idea about! This sketch was made right after this manga panel showing Toshiro's new look was released: [link] That's the ONLY picture he had for 2 weeks before the next chapter! He made a FAN-ART! F-A-N-A-R-T! Do you know what that is?! It's drawing a character that you like in a pose that was never seen before. Btw, people get paid to line-art things if they are good enough. Just because you recognize the character, does NOT mean you know what is fan-art and what is not. You are clearly clueless.

Hahaha. I think you'll find you're the annoyance. After all, who was the one who started this rather silly little disagreement? That's right, you. I posted my last comment voicing my opinion on the matter quiiiite a long time ago, I think you'll see if you take the time to look. And I don't recall the discussion ever involving you in the first place. You just decided to butt in and attempt to boast about your incredible tracing skills and your incredible little group of tracers and your collection of points you've received for tracing. If tracing was allowed on dA, why do you think the infamous !Vampirella87 was finally banned? And in the long run, you're not going to improve. The last time I traced something, I was thirteen years old - yes, I did learn a bit from it, but I never put it online, and I stopped once I'd learned what I needed to. I see no point in it, so there we go.

Also, you asked if I had ever heard of a radical concept called fanart. Why yes, I have. If you'd take the time to look in my gallery, you'd see that I have indeed made some. Now why don't you go back to your tracing and quit starting pointless arguments you're not going to win.

Well, I've never got paid for it, and I've only made one, and it is not tracing, since I had to add things to fix the lines from the original sketch, so it is not easy. I also have no mouse or tablet, only a laptop touch pad, which really sucks. And I don't have to worry about getting banned, since I always ask permission first, like I did with the one I made. So don't accuse me of tracing all the time when you don't know if I did or didn't. So there.
