Background: Hanabi grew up as an ordinary girl and had known Chelsea since childhood. Her athletic prowess and skill caught the eyes of CREST Japan's elite unit the Striders. One of the high ranking officers named Hanshiro Hattori was ordered to scout out Hanabi by meeting her during her time in junior high. He recruited Hanabi and took her under her wing into a special training program where they train recruits into becoming the new ninja. Although long and difficult, Hanabi managed to complete her training and became a ninja herself. Plus with hearing news of Chelsea becoming a CREST agent herself, Hanabi hoped to fight alongside with her childhood friend one day.

Personality: Hanabi is a bright, bubbly, and energetic girl. She is a dedicated hard worker who often puts her all in what she does especially in her hobbies. But at times Hanabi can be short-tempered, childish, and impulsive, often goin into fits of anger and charging in head first without thinking. She's also can be a bit of a showoff, wanting to display her prowess and skill to others and even trying some cool looking moves from what shows she watched. Despite all that, Hanabi is caring to her core and very protective of her friends, especially with her childhood friend Chelsea. Hanabi enjoys the same hobbies as Chelsea does such as anime and tokusatsu. She's also a big fan of martial arts movies and likes dancing. Hanabi is part of a dance group in high school and even tries to balance her group and her CREST ninja life the best she can.

Powers and Abilities: Hanabi's primary weapon is her a three-mode morphing weapon. It's primary form is a bo staff and it can also shapeshift into a three-section staff and a three-handled nunchaku. As a CREST Strider ninja, Hanabi can move at lightning fast speed, wall run walls, and is very acrobatic; enabling her to evade any attack with ease. Even without her weapon, Hanabi is a well-trained hand-to-hand combatant. She learned various style of martial arts and can apply most of her dance moves into her fighting style. Hanabi is very proficient in fire-based ninjutsu. She can summon and control flames at very high temperatures, engulf her weapon and fists in flames, and even performing many powerful fire ninjutsu techniques.
