Description
A warm, moist land with thick clouds above, blanketing the heat in.Flying boat idea is of course from Final Fantasy. This work is a little sketchy but I like it like this. It looks even better if you step back from your comp. They say never view art work up close
. Hope you guys like this one. This one was pretty fun to do. I just wanted to keep it lose through the whole thing, and I think the out come came out good.

i like the grand epic feel of this one.. im such a fetish for the clouds and highlands... the ship definately adds a lil to the element..
but the clouds could still use a lil more detailing so it'd look more realistic...

i was wondering how u select ur colours.. u go straight from swatch?
the thing is ur cutoff between foreground and bg is too harsh.. the colours dont really harmonise causing a rift sensation

I used swatch for this. I also use hue/saturation a lot once I lay down a basic color and get it to what I want.

It's actually pretty bright right now and I have my brightness on 0 on my monitior. I also checked on another computer and it was fine. Detail could be more but I was keeping it loose. I think I stress to much over some works with detail and I don't want to do that anymore. But thanks for being honest.

Yea - it looks absolutely great. I love it. I haven't seen the rest of your work, but form what I see here, it's not terribly sketchy - just enough. I really like it. Colour choice is awesome and the horizon is very rich, especially by the awesome FF boat
