So this is for the January skinning challenge, which you can find info on Here . Which ^bradleysays is organzing.
I really wanted to try something new. I'm not very good at using images to make my skins interesting; but I wanted to try some new shapes with the CSS and formatting, to create something unusual and unlike what you usually find here -without using pictures. Thus, maybe it's advent-garde? (I may have had to google for a definition). Then I wanted teal.
I came up with this design in summer, along with the colours while in proboards forums, but making it fit into dA was a real pain. Things have to go just right and it displays poorly when it's not fullview, which really upsets me. I usually strive to make them as perfect and UNfrustrating as possible. I think it looks nice without the column, but it was a lot of work to have both, so I'm giving both options.
I think it's really nice when you have extra resources, like 100x100 icons, that you can actually use
Like I said in the image, it fits the same codes as a lot of my other skins, which I think is convenient. I dunno if I'll be able to do the rest of the challenge tbh. I have ideas though.
Most of the information is in the image today (:

In case you mess up the header and want to get back to the default:

A reminder of the codes you'll want
< h2 > Is the centered purple headers.
< div class="features" > is the features box.
< div class="left"> is having a thumb to the left. There's a right version too.
Info is the teal box, and icon is the icon. Content is the massive yellow box. Feel free to change little things if they irritate you, like opacities or some colour stuff.
