This isnt what i had scheduled for this week. Its oil paints what i had in schedule but it didnt happen because i had a terrible week filled with pain and lots of painkillers and medication (that is actually started working only recently) and the only tool i found easy to use was ballpoint pens.... So this is what i used
On Bristol extra smooth paper, size 13cm x 18cm (its small really, given my situation i started this as a doodle but i gave it a better chance eventually)

I come back to this drawing and still cannot imagine how such an effect could be achieved using ballpoint pens. I like theΒ

I love this. Β Can you tell me, on an average, how many 'different' pen colors do you use? Β I know we combine colors for new colors, but how many actual different pens are used in this process? Β And can you tell me what kind of paper? Β I so want to try this medium. Β Absolutely mesmerizing and it blows peoples minds at work when I tell them a piece was done with BIC ball point pen---disbelief. Β Β

and here is what i used for the eagle
its not just BIC, its Staedtler too and Paper Mate, the white one you see over there is a white gel pen. You should definitely try it out Joni, besides the fact its a medium ridiculously cheap and totally affordable it makes me feel like being in high school again and sitting on the last desk doodling since the maths class is too boring
experiment with papers, i have used canson mi teintes, bristol extra smooth, i believe any paper will do as long as it is robust enough to endure ( count for this use one that weights approximately 165-250 gms/m2 )

this belongs to a very sweet girl now, it has a wonderful frame and mattings around and the owner loves it! I dont believe in talent that much to be honest, i just believe in hard work and repetition. Practice makes perfect eventually.
