Preferably, yes. But currently I'm forced to use a crappy trackpad on an old-as-dirt laptop that doesn't hold a charge for more than twenty minutes. On MS Paint.

i draw with a mouse xD.

Theirs really not much of a difference. just takes longer and you might not get the same effect.

I use paint tool sai and found a bunch of tricks to get effects of drawing tablets along with good coloring (:
