Yeah... We had some eerie skies and tornado warnings in my area, but nothing hit... places nearby completely different story...

Yeah, same here. It was pretty frightening, especially since the east coast doesn't get too many tornadoes..

Yeah.
I've lived in Colorado before, and they definitely get more tornadoes than anywhere around here usually does... I've seen a water spout in front of my house here though. XD

Yes.. I didn't add them, if that's what you're asking. I simply increased the contrast and saturation levels.
The clouds were really pink and the sky was really blue.

Whoa this is radical! I sometimes get sunsets like this where I live (maybe not quite as intense as this, but close) but its hard to capture the colors in their pure form. It sucks. This is really beautiful though, even in the face of adversity.

This was right as dozens of tornadoes were sweeping across my state to the north of where I live and I caught the outskirts of the storm clouds. So it's not really a sunset, it's more storm clouds. But thanks! I've never seen pink clouds and blue sky together unless they were somehow blending into a sunset!

i remember seeing something similar to this just before bolting for about a mile to the nearest shelter. now i now know why so many idiots stay outside taking photos when a tornado is aimed right at them

In this case, I wasn't being an idiot because the tornadoes were actually very far north of where I was, but I still saw this pretty little sight! The outskirts of the worst storms are probably the prettiest things I've seen.

i was somewhat refering to my instance.. sorry if i didn't imply that... i hate my social skills

but in my encounter.. the funnel cloud was actually forming right above me. it was so pretty i couldn't move for a moment. then my camp instructor (yeah.. i was at camp) screamed at me to move my *** XD
