waht a great angle for a shot! this is so calm feeling, and sincere.
I do wish the lines were a little less scribbly. either shade or use hatching, but try not to make them just scribbly. it's hard, but I think either effect would really benefit the level of sophistication in your art. I've found lately a good excercise to practice lines is to get magazine clippings and draw the value in with a thin-line felt tip marker (like crayola). you can get neat effects and reprorduce them in pencil drawings

Lovely. What a peaceful scene. The setting is charming, and Ceru stands out so clearly here. I like the CG version, too. Your choice of colors was good, and it looks like a fairy-tale illustration straight out of a classic book. BUT, I like this version better, because of how much Ceru draws the eye. It's so clean.

They're not actually bandages--they're b'engdai, which is something fighting monks wear for traveling or something to prevent rocks and stuff from getting into their feet or shoes or whatever. Ehh, never mind. XD
