Well im trying to make a game with the rpg maker vx @.@ but its a little difficult, atleast i know the basic like how to create a map, events, etc
and she is gonna be a character for my project xD

It seems there are differences in the way tilemaps are handled and the things you can do, as well as graphical differences. Also some things about scripts and combat.
I don't know if there are better ways to do it, but I simply made a black image with a transparent center and used the show picture command!
Additionally I used a tint screen command to make everything a bit more red (for it to look like candlelight).
