I have no full recollection of how the idea first entered my twisted brain, but I’m glad it did. It might’ve been the last time I had seen Matthew with her; it might’ve been during the many times I would absentmindedly stare at my ceiling and my brain would brew plans that many would label insane. I don’t care. As soon as the plan was put into action, my perverse desire was fulfilled, and I felt great.

Ryan would be the best candidate fore the role of the…well, that didn’t matter at the moment. I just needed him to agree. I believed he’d do it, especially for me, for two reasons. One: He was just as crazy as I was. Two: He’d do anything for me, as long as I was pleased. And I was right. The second I’d asked him, he said yes, without seeming to take a thought. He didn’t fully realize the shit that he was getting himself into.

I decided to do it after he got out of work. He was always the last person out, and he took the alleyway as a shortcut. Stupid, foolish boy.

As Ryan and I patiently for him to come, my thoughts strayed to Matthew. Yes, it was true that our love was never “officially” announced, but it was there, I could feel it, and I know he could, too. Then, on the day I had actually gotten the nerve to confess what I felt for him, I saw her. Every time I saw them together, an indescribable hate rose in my chest. How many times had he come so close to tell me he loved me, hesitated, then was called away, just at the moment? God, how I began to despise her….

Footsteps shattered my thoughts and the precious silence. I watched him walk down the dark alleyway, watched as he walked closer and closer to us. I crouch lower behind the dumpster we were using to hide. As soon as I gave Ryan the signal, Matthew was on the ground.

He let out a startled cry as Ryan tackled him, landing hard on his face. Ryan held him down the best he could. I circled them, a smirk playing across my lips. Matthew’s eyes never left me, fear and surprise keeping them lit. I knelt down, so that my face was mere inches from his.

“Well, Matt,” I hissed. “How’ve ya been? Me? Just fine! Especially since you tore my heart. But, you see, I couldn’t let you walk free without the mentioned crime, sooo…Ryan is here to help me execute your punishment.

The face I once thought was beautiful contorted into a confused expression. I reached over and cupped his face gently in my hand, my nose touching his. Our eye contact never broke. His eyes were pleading, and scared. He didn’t notice when Ryan cautiously let him go and hurriedly unbuttoned his own jeans. This was all part of the plan.

I leaned in and kissed him roughly. To my surprise, he kissed back, his tongue pleasantly exploring my mouth. I knotted my fingers in his hair, for a moment hesitantly wondering if I should discontinue the plan. I quickly remembered all the internal pain he had caused me. I pulled away sharply, spitting out the taste of his saliva.

He suddenly noticed that his pants were down. He began to thrash around, only to be held back down by me. The result of me and Ryan having a little “innocent” fun-time was still showing, so this made it a lot more easier. Again, all part of the plan.

Matthew’s mouth opened to scream, but before he could build up the breath, Ryan did it. A quick, sharp scream ripped from Matthew’s mouth. He clutched the gravel floor, his knuckles turning white. More agonized screams brought me more gratification than I would’ve thought possible. I began to laugh with the screams.

Ah, yes. Revenge sure was sweet.
