The moon shone brightly as it was centered in the middle of thousands of stars that painted over the navy blue night; the wind blowing a crisp, November chill as it hit my flesh sending shivers down my spin as it hit my bare neck that the gown did not cover.  I was forced to wear a Queen like silver bouffant gown that was indeed strapless with elegant flower designs on top half and lower part of dress while the Lucia Italian Cignetta Silver/White half mask with a laser-cut swan and Austrian crystals rested underneath my flaming red bangs.

It was the night of the anual King & Queen Masked Ball that consisted of Dukes, Dutchesses, the Royal Court and many other important people from across the globe which usually ended up in my Mother trying to persuade me into marrying Prince Sakura from the Konoha Village somewhere west from here.  Sighing, I walked away from the scenery that I have grown so fond of, walking back into the hell hole that was also known as the Ball Room. Slipping on my mask as I gracefully walked to the middle of the dance floor with my mask pushed down over my eyes to hide my face as my gown graciously twirled as the wind from the opened 18 foot tall window left a draft into the room.

"My goodness, Why I do indeed feel a draft coming into the room. Someone should close the window" The Dutchess of Konoha *also known as Prince Sakura's mother* said in a mostly politley and swiftly tone that almost caused me to look at her and give her the As-If-It-Wasnt-Obvious-Sherlock- look that my mother absolutley hated for, expessily around the Dutchess since she wanted me to be a polite young "lady"  *groan*  so I don't upset or embarress her in any form of way.

Sometimes, I believe my mother forgets that I'm a BOY and that I'm not into Girls, but indeed the same gender as myself.  Speaking of "myself" I forgot to introduce myself properly.

My name is Sasori No Akasuna, usually I am called 'Scorpion' for my stinging behavior when I am  paranoid. I'm 18 year old redheaded male with mud like eyes. I spend most of my time in my room where I instruct in making puppets out of wood from the Oak trees from the backyard forest. I disbise waiting and I am sure that is all you need to know.

"Sasori! Oh, my sweet, sweet daughter! Could you please come here for a second?"  I heard my mother call me from her seat at the royal thrown in the very back of the room.  It pissed me off how my mother treats me like a girl, which I'm sure she was sadly disappointed when she realized she had a boy who she would soon end up cross-dressing just to marry the damn Prince of Konoha!

Walking over to my mother the way she taught me made her smile as I stepped infront of her immediatly.   "What do you want?"  I asked in a tone that stated clearly that I was pissed off.

This caused my mother to frown, "Now, Now Sasori. Remember. Language"  She said in a soft and cooing like tone which made my eye twitch as I swept my gaze away from her which ended up at the man sitting next to her, which was indeed my father.  He was the only one who knew about my orientation and couldn't blame me for the way my mother treated me like a girl.  Like, she didn't except me to turn out gay after being forcefully dressed in a gown and trying to get me to marry princes from all over the land, like, what the hell is this crazed woman thinking?

"Now, like I was saying before.  Sasori, I would like you to meet Prince Sakura, your husband to be" she smiled as she clapped her hands excitedly when the Prince walked from beside her until she was facing me.  How did I not notice her?  I almost gawked as I looked over the features of my "husband to be".  Huge forehead, hair that was a bright bright cherry blossom pink that it burned my eyes while hers seem to shine a bright lime green which also hurt my eyes.  I was dying for an Asprin at that moment. . .

"Hello there, my beautiful love.  I can not wait until the day we wed.  It will be like a dream come true for me and I'm sure for your fantasys as well. . . Cause, like, You are lucky you picked me! I was just about thinking of marrying that fine blacked haired raven boy. . .Mmmm. . .Oh! But, uhh, Right! You are much sexier than him!"  The pink haired slut stated before taking my hands in hers and winking at me

I stared wide eye and mouth at this gimbo as she blurted out these words.  Uhh, Was I hearing this right? Did she only want me cause of my looks? . . .Wow, She really is a whore. . . which suddenly came from my mouth, as I pulled my hands away, causing the pink haired gimbo to gawk at me with mouth open that I prayed a fly would fly into it and choke her to death.  I walked away as soon as I heard my Mother scream at me for manners with only one though in my head. . .

Arms wrapped around me to keep me from falling and my eyes half opened as they were still hidden behind the mask.

It was weird. . .Whatever I collided with, it felt oddly warm and comfortable that I swear I almost fell asleep. . .but what pissed me off was when the person gently slapped my face over and over which probably thought I was asleep which paranoid me enough to firmly grab the hand and hold it in a hard grip as I heard the person whine a sound or protest.

"Ow~ Ow~ Ow~ Ow~ OW! Can you let go, un?!  I still need that hand later in life!"  The owner of the hand complained as I gripped it tighter.

"What if I don't want to? What if I want to rip it off from your fucking wrist and slap you with it, huh?! What would you need it for anyway? Btw, How did you get in he--"   I was silenced as the owner of the hand brought me into a kiss.  It was quick, simple.  Yet, I felt a tingle of excitement and antisipation as my lips fitted so firmly over this persons such as a pencil and paper fit together.

I finally looked up as the person pulled away, and I felt like my heart would jump out of my chest as I saw who was standing infront of me.  It was a tall, blonde male that was also wearing a mask similar to mine except for the fact that it was a deep, midnight black with silver beads on it that shone like the stars in the navy blue sky, instead of my golden ones.

The blonde male had golden blonde hair that made it seem like the vivrant silk that the most expensive table cloths were made from, it was parted at the top and hanged in a tall ponytall on the top part of his head at the back, with a black hair wrap holding it up while at the front, a large portion of golden hair is pulled down over the left side of the midnight mask, hiding one of his deep sapphire azure eyes that shone brightly through the darkness of the face mask.

"You ask too many questions, un. . ."  The blonde male gently said, his voice sounding liked velvet church bells blowing to the rythmn of the wind.

"W-Well pardon me for being c-curious, "  I stuttered, stupidly that I almost slapped myself.  "Well than, tell me your name, Peasant."  I calmly replied as the look of his close stated that he wasn't a Duke of any kind.  A white baggy long sleeved shirt with a blue sleevless vest over top with baggy black pants while wearing dress shoes that almost camoflauged.

"Why do you wish to know my name? Does it really matter how I am, un? Why is it so important to you if you know my name or not?"

Okay! What the hell is going on here?  I'm standing there looking like a complete moron infront of this angelic tanned angel asking for his name and all he can give me is a riddle that sounded like a depressed emo.   I was just about to snap at him when suddenly, the orchestra started playing the tune of 'Swan Lake' from the ballet.

I blinked as I felt my shoulder being tapped from a front, which I immediatly looked up at the taller male who very gentlemen like bowed as he held his hand out to me, his other arm behind his back.

"Would you care to dance with me?"  He asked in a tone that I never even knew exsisted to any human being, it was like this man was sculpted from angels.   I immediatly nodded polietly as I took his hand in my smaller one while resting the other one on his shoulder as he straightened so he was now standing, his folded arm now wrapped tightly around my waist as we slowly spun in a circle in the middle of the ball room.

Taking my eyes away from the blonde male is something that was quite impossible for me to do as he tightened his hold on my waist when other men took glances at us, as we elegantly and gracefully swayed to the rythmn of the music, only letting our hearts lead us as we both stared into eachother as if we could read the souls of the other.  It was very pleasant and peaceful as I prayed silently that it wouldn't end, but sadly, God had to desbise me once again and the song ended too soon, but I was glad as the blonde male didn't remove his grip from me but instead, brought me into a soft embrace which I rested my head near his neck, my hands firmly gripping his shoulders as another song started which we just swayed side to side to.

"By the way, un. . .I think it was rude of me not to introduce myself to you, your highness. . ."   Oh my god, He knew who I was. . .  "So I wish to inform you that my name is Iwa, Deidara Iwa, un"

                           . . .That was when my world came crashing back into Reality. . .
