Well, FINNALLY I drew the gen six starters in gijinka. It's been overdue for like, what, four months now?
Anyways, I thought I would use different tecniques for each gijinka to make 'em stand out. Fennekin was done in a more pop style, Froakie with airbrush and Chespin with watercolor ( ! Traditional media!) It's actually been a while since I used watercolor, and that before then was when I just slopped paint all over the plac ewith no teqnique... the Chespin gijinka is my first time using actual manga watercolor tecnique, so please forgive me for its crappyness... -_-'
Chespin is my favourite starter, because it's cute like Oshawott. Then comes Fennekin, which is okay, and lastly Froakie. Ugh. I actually thought it looked ridiculous for a starter at first, but then time has passed and it's okay now. Besides, it makes a f***ing adorable gijinka.
Found this in my files from a couple of weeks ago, so I'd thought I'd post this up now and submit it to this contest.
