Shex Satellite has two modes - a compact mode with simple display, volume, and play controls and an expanded mode that adds a playlist and more.Before using this skin make sure you're running QCD version 3.40 or better. There are a host of features available in this build that Shex Satellite uses, including hover/mousedown slider effects, transparent timer font, playlist font effects, play/pause combo button, and transparent playlist tracks.
Everything's pretty self-explanatory but it's worth pointing out a couple of potentially tricky areas. First and foremost, click on the light bulb on the antenna to expand and contract it. The expanded version has a system message area that tells you what something does when you hover over it. Also, see the panel on the lower half that contains the play controls? The panel itself is the stop button, which probably isn't very obvious.

Wow, this is a sweet skin. You know you've succeeded when people go download QCD just to try it. Excuse me, I'm off to go download QCD just to try it.

first of all... I've been using QCD for less than a month. second of all - I had nooooo idea that I could ever comment on my favourite skin. third - this is probably going to be my most stupid comment ever. why? BECAUSE I LOOOOOOOOOVE Shex Satellite!! YES! I LOVE IT! I LOVE IT! I LOVE IT! I've never seen a piece of skin so well designed. fitting. balanced. compact. comfortable. perffffffffect! I keep it on my desktop so I can dip into it. yes... dip! and swim! there's not many things I'm crazy about but this PERFECT LITTLE SKIN is one of the few. oh yes. did I say that... I LOVE IT?!! I'll never use another! (it was the first. the one. and only... that I've ever downloaded.) yes. I do love it.

I second zero, would be nice to have this skin for wa3, with some antialiasing done around the edges.

a brilliant skin. been using it for a while. just now spotted it here on dA so i felt obligated to leave a comment. would *love* a wa3 port (or a new skin altogether but in this style). so far all the wa3 skins scare me. no decent simple yet smooth skins anymore, with the exception of this and black banana. oh yeah and QCD needs alpha blending! anyway. love the skin. pz out.

Wicked skin!! Very deserving of the DD.
Although I don't use QCD this is one of those skins that makes me want to try the program out just so I can try this skin. BTW the rest of the suite is very nice as well, pity I don't use NS any more =[

I don't use QCD but I have to comment on this. This it really cool. My favorite thing about it is how the scrollbar for the playlist is separate from the playlist window, that's very original. /me goes to check out xymantix's gallery
