Llamas are introduced into Minecraft on the Exploration Update; which is version 1.11.
- This is what a Llama looks like in Minecraft:Β hydra-media.cursecdn.com/minecβ¦
- They're available in 4 colors; brown, sandy, light gray, or white.
- They spawn naturally on extreme hills and savanna biomes in herds.
- They can be tamed similarly to horses. However, when riding one; even if tamed, the player can't control their movements.
- You can attach a lead to a llama. When this happens, surrounding llamas will follow in a caravan-like line.
- They can be equipped with chests.
- You can even decorate a llama with carpets!
- Llamas are neutral to players. If you attack a llama, it will spit at you once, thus costing you 1 health point.
- Llamas are hostile to wolves, and will spit at wolves without provocation.
- Tamed llamas can be bred with hay bales.
