I've been requested to watch this anime and I got to admit, I really do like it.
Anyways, I've decided to draw the three youngest members of 1121st Platoon.
From left to right; Kanata Sorami, Kureha Suminoya and NoΓ«l Kannagi.
Took about 8-10 hours using SAI

I want to kill anyone who claims this is just K-ON!, but with military uniforms. This show, though initially quite laid-back, becomes very serious near the end. Plus, the characters are quite different as well in terms of personality.

and Rio looks alot like Mio
Plus, their names only have a one letter difference XD

Well, to be fair, they share traits with the K-ON! characters, though most if it lies in the style sued for the anime (which was very different with whatever the original artwork looked like):
Kanata - Yui
Rio - Mio
Kureha- Azusa
Filicia - Nodoka
I'd say only NoΓ«l doesn't really seem to have traits of any of the K-ON! girls.

Have you seen the episode with the old woman who lives in the mountain all alone? GAH THE ENDING TO THAT MAKES ME CRY EVERY SINGLE TIME.
Also, think of the most awesome thing you have ever seen. Then give that thing some crack and multiply it by 173. The result is episodes 11 and 12 (well, 12 and the end of 11, if I recall correctly). All I'll say is, remember that thing they're keeping in the gymnasium...?

Just wow man! The ending is damn right frigging spectacular! I felt a massive lump in my throat once Kanata started playing 'Amazing Grace' with her trumpet on top of the Takemikazuchi as the two armies started to advancing upon one and other.
Just wow! I can't believe how underrated this anime is.
