Description
This was a project done for the ADAA contest. It was supposed to be Kether holding a bubble wand and knife...the knife part was a bit risky.Enjoy.

No seriously, this is pretty cool. I like the bubble-stuffs (even though for my eye, the linework is a bit thick for bubbles, I read them as magical blobs when I first looked, and you could also add some iridescence in there <--insert inside joke here) and his face. The lighting on the right side of his face is particularly nice! As a whole, I know you can do better! Clean up that left side of the pic! Add more depth in that shading! YES, I'll tear you a new one, but that's what you want! His facial structure is very nice, btw. He still looks like you but not like a clone, lol. Love ya 'seph!

Haha, I read your statement as "this part was a bit tricksy" not "risky". So, for the longest time, I stared at this piece trying to find the knife. "CAN YOU SEE IT?" It was a Freudian slip I swear! So now I know what you've been skipping MetroCAF for. ^.~ I just love the bubbles here, making all sorts of shapes. I feel as If I'm being given a Raw-shock test. (one is a Hershey's kiss and the other is covering his eye! baww I think he poked it) The whole feeling of this piece is very magical, even the way its colored in gives a wispy dream induced state. The background feels very Louis Carol inspired. Feels Like he's going down the rabbit hole!
However for some reason his right arm is bothering me. I feel like its trying to tell me something but is failing... (yes because that made so much sense Anna *pokes self*.) but I really love his right ear and the right... tassel... sweatshirt string. they are both so solid while the left is fading. Sort of as if hot air is making him come in and out of focus.
It seems as if you were trying out a different style. Usually your pieces are very linear while this one is soft and rounded. (even the sweatshirt). So props to that. Somehow I still prefer your traditional pieces.
I was really hoping to read some background story to this piece but alas it seems as if thats for me to decide. And yes, pink haired guys are so manly.
