And at my place it's all just going to the bloody squirrels. As much as I (and my cat) find them entertaining to watch, the little buggers have just dug enormous holes in my potted plants burying the peanut swag I leave out on the porch. At least with fairies I can assume there's some kind of shelter building involved.
