Description Question: do the patterns look okay? Should I enlarge something, or make something smaller, take something off, add something...?

1. Celtic knotwork > aka orange slices...
2. Damask flower 1 (it feels a bit cramped up)...
3. Damask flower 2 (better this one, don't you think?)...
4. Fleur de Lis (is that circle too big?)...

Suggestions welcome.

Also, would anyone want to use these patterns?

Very beautiful work. And yeah, I think the Damask flower 2 pattern is better than the Damask flower 1 pattern, 'cause the 1 pattern feels a bit suffocating.

It's really hard to see the end result when I'm making these as I can only see the single pattern. I have to first finish the whole thing, save, and then open a new canvas and import that as a pattern, and then I can see if it's alright or not.... Takes forever, and is very tiresome! I wish there was some ready program to make seamless repeatable patterns...

But, yes, you are right about the first damask flower. It looked beautiful as a single pattern, but when repeated... well, suffocating is the right word for it. I'm thinking of doing the same sort of "widening up in-between spaces" with the other patterns as well.

I feel your pain, friend.

The other patterns aren't quite as tight-knit, so I think they work fine the way they are, but it's up to you.
