I'm quite mad for putting this up when I haven't even had the chance to tackle all of you guys' old comments but... oh well~! At this rate, I'll hardly show any of the new stuffs.So I figured I'd make an exception this time and update away forrrrrrrrrr...... this be version 2 of... this: [link] ?
So which one do you guys like better? This one or the old? Or none at all?
As for me, I think I'd have to go with 'none'! It appears that the colour green is not very fond of me and refuses to cooperate every time I attempt to use it! DX And so while the old was just ugly kitsch, this be ugly touristy shop kitsch! :'D *shot*

[On a happy note - atleast I'm done with this series. Good riddance! (Perhaps I'll even put up some of the others later.) On a not so happy note - none of the paintings look like the original envisioning of me dreams.... as usual! T____T ]

It's really hard to tell which version of the picture I like better.
For the overall colors, I'd say the other version with the blues and greens. Not because of these colors, but because I have a thing for using few colors effectively. It's a matter of personal preference.
Also, I think the translucency of your pictures that I love so much shines through much better, and the simple details. Too many colors often overshadow things like this IMHO.
Still, this is very pretty by itself.
Especially the little misty clouds at the bottom!

I love ye, ye green demon calling lady!!! ^o^! And I love the beautiful golds and all the decorative miniature elements. It's hard to say which one is better, version 1 was calm and soothing, and this is vivid and lively, they're both good in their won ways. As always, I'm in awe with the way you're able to handle layers of washes so well!

You know.... layers in miniature are actually pretty easy.

I was happy that this atleast looked halfway decent when I finally got my hands on its framed version! I swear.... framing can make the biggest pile of rubbish even seem proper!

Even this adding and lifting paint requires a lot of skill, still nowhere like just tapping ctrl +z XD. I often killl the paper brutally in the process of lifting paint 
True, true, frames make stuff look awesome, and even more awesome when the frames on a nice wall!!

I love the smoke and the designs on the lady's tights.
I like both versions- this one's more vibrant and there's much more going on, but I like the trees in the other one.

Haha yah...I need to repost stuff I think. Haven't made too much new stuff though...I've had plenty of ideas for pictures but every time I sit down to make anything I just...draw a blank. (er..no pun intended) Its kind of like I've forgotten how...or something. Very upsetting

That happens! Especially when one gets in a 'block-phase' for a long loooooong time! >__< The best way I've found to get out of it is to start drawing rubbish doodles of stuffs one likes, be it original charries that one loves or fanart, and not worry about showing it anywhere. And out of all the rubbish doodles, something good is bound to turn up, that one might even start colouring upon!
But you should put up some of your older stuffs~! You were one person who could actually make me love Kingdom Hearts with your fanart!!!

Lurrrg...you're right though. I must start drawing again. I miss it soooooo very much.
and backgrounds...i have to practice making backgrounds! I envy how you give all your paintings awesome detailed environments and depth and emotion...all my stuff seems flat, stiff and distinctly un-dynamic. Though i suppose complaining about it won't do me much good! ahah must practice.

It's tough. I like the colors on this one better, but I think the older one had a better composition that drew your eyes to the songstress.

In this picture I really like the white patterns overlaid here and there... And also the patterns on her hose (they are a nice detail ^^ )

As for which one I like better, old or new...hmmm...I like the softness of the colors in the old one...and the tree faces (which I didn't even notice in the new one until a second look XD ) but I think I like the poses and the bold colors of the second one...(The two pictures are most definitely *Two Different songs

Hm.... hearing your opinions, I think I actually prefer the older one now... if I was preferring any at all! It seems a bit less harsher, more clearer. But.... 'two different songs'...! What a nice way to describe these two uglinesses~!
