The old man who took care of him like his own grandson have passed away few years ago. Everyone dies, that's natural, Ares knows that. Still sometimes Ares can't help it but misses his grandfather while looking at the only photo of them he has. A cup of coffee is there to reminds him, that he shouldn't weep over the dead ones.This is Ares Lysander, if you still remember^^ (the one with the huge arbalest~)
Actually I wanted to try realism painting...and this time Ares is the model
Still rough and need more details here and there, and some failed things like proportion and face orz...
Need critics please~

Ares Lysander-sama really is up there with Moshe in terms of appeal. Really happy to see another pic of her, even if it is just chilling out. Surely the best characters can't just be cool with a sword. Integra Hellsing definitely fits into the reason why I like this character as well.

yeah, I was searching for a weapon which is rare or unusual to see in this modern and sci-fi world. arbalest sure is heavy and need time to reload the arrow, but at last you can pick up the used arrow again after the war XD

I'm sorry, he just really has that Integra Hellsing that stance that I got confused. But you should really keep the design, it makes him unique among your characters. And that sounds like an interesting idea to me. Ares really needs a unique weapon among all these amazing weapons that people can identify with. My only advice is to test it out to see its practicality in combat as well as see if it meshes well with Ares personality. But yeah, he is still awesome.

Well, lets hope you find out his best combat methods. How someone fights really can tell you a lot about them. But since you had such ideas in the whimsical it would be fun to see how you treat a more authoritative type. (really different from Moshe with that in mind)
