Hello everyone,

Goodness! It's been a LOOOOOOOOOONG time hasn't it?! Much too long! And as always I truly must apologize for STILL being behind on messages... Honestly, I don't know what more I can say.... Work has been extremely chaotic, especially with required overtime since this past March, (and with no indicator of that changing) and of course there is still much in my personal life that has left me with very little free time, much more than ever before. I do feel awful though, and have all this time since I've been away.... I've been out of touch with even some of my very closest friends, and with the holidays approaching, I miss them even more now. I miss all of you, in fact! All I can say is that I'll try to do better, even if it's only one step at a time. Please don't give up on me and know that I still think the world of all of you! alove:

As for this piece I'm submitting, this is one that I depicted for my very good friend Beth, who I met in Salem Massachusetts last year, (along with their equally kind fiancee Charles) when I attended the Bizarre, Bazaar that October. They had noticed my Yu-Gi-Oh related artwork, and being fan themselves, we immediately began talking! We kept in touch throughout the year, and even saw each other in Salem this year also, becoming even closer in the process. They then asked me to depict Joey and Seto as a couple, given that these two are their favorite pairing from the Yu-Gi-Oh franchise. They spoke at length about how much they adored them and how they saw their relationship develop in the series and what they imagined afterwards too. Though I must admit that I still love Joey with Mai, myself, I wanted to be very sure to try and capture the love and devotion that my friend spoke so highly of when it came to these two. I had suggested that the two should swap outfits in the work, as an indicator of their closeness. Beth agreed, and also added that they should even switch neck pieces, especially given that Seto's is one of his most cherished possessions. This image, in theory, could be years in the future as well; when the two have grown up, accepted one another and can be completely at ease in their presence.

I hope you like it Beth! It was fun depicting Yu-Gi-Oh art again after a very long hiatus! Happy Holidays to you and everyone here! If all goes well, I may even have a new holiday surprise to submit before the month is out! Here's hoping at least! Until next time then!
