Hello everyone!

How are you? I hope you're doing well! My goodness has it been a long time..... Far too long! I apologize for that everyone! I can't believe it's been over a year since I posted and much longer since I added a new deviation, but truth be told various things in my personal life have kept me busy. It's been ages since I was able to put pencil to paper, and I was worried that I'd be extremely rusty. What would have taken me a few days or a week, has taken me many many weeks, but even so, I wanted to at least try to get back into the swing of things, when time permits.

When trying to think about where to start, I thought about reaching back to something near and dear to my heart; namely Sailor Moon. I suppose this image is of Princess Serenity to be more specific, but I added my own little touches to her and designed the dress that she's wearing. I just wanted to draw something pretty, with a nice flow to it; nothing too earth shattering really. Again, I still worry I've lost my touch, at least to some extent, but I did try my best to add in the minor details and take my time with the work, as I would have in the past. I also hope to paint this piece eventually, but I wanted to post the line art for the time being. I normally would have added this to my Scraps gallery, but since I know I won't be producing as much work as I did in the past, I want to be able to share all stages of my art with all of you, if you'd like to see them anyhow! Thanks for looking you guys, and it really is nice to be back. I've missed Devianrt and all the wonderful people I've known on this site. I still hope to catch up on messages around here too, once I familiarize myself with the new formatting of the site, which I'll admit has been a bit daunting to me. I guess I just miss the classic look, which felt comfortable and nostalgic. It was like coming home. I'm sure I'll get used to this new version eventually, but I do long for how things were. Anyways, I guess I'll leave it at that for now! Take care and until next time then!
