Description of Blessings and Annie:

Fragrant nutmeg, the most typical and widely known species from its genus, is an evergreen tree.

Its seeds greyish-brown seeds are ground and turned into powder to be used on many kinds of

baked goods, pudding, sauces, and beverages. The spice has a distinctive pungent fragrance and

a warm, slightly sweet taste. If consumed in big amounts, however, it can't be bad for your health!

The snow bunting lives in very high latitudes in the Arctic tundra. It is fairly large and long-winged

for a bunting. It measures 15 cm with a wingspan of 32–38 cm. During the breeding period, the

snow bunting looks for rocky habitats. Since the vegetation in the tundra is low growing, this bird

and its nestlings are exposed to predators, and in order to ensure the survival of its offspring, the

snow bunting nests in cavities in order to protect the nestlings from any threat.

A traditional holiday drink dating back hundreds of years, Eggnog is made with eggs (hence the name),

milk, cream, and spices like nutmeg and vanilla, also lightly spiked with rum, whisky, or brandy, if you

fancy that. It is often served chilled, but you can take it warm on cold days if you prefer. It was very

popular among the aristocracy! Its ingredients were foods of the wealthy, so eggnog was often used

in toasts to prosperity and good health.

Optional personality:

Letters of well wishes, letters for the celebration, words written with love and adoration for Annies

who aren’t near. During the season where days become darker and distance between loved ones

grows, it is important to share the warmth of a message from the heart to let them know one is

thinking about them.

It is this little Annie’s job to deliver letters and parcels in the snowiest of winters and the coldest

of weathers to share the winter cheer because every smile is worth the effort it takes to traverse

any terrain.
